Partners Day

Paynovate CEO Robert Masse kicked off the recent Partners Day Webinar with a welcome to the partners and keynote presentation contributors who took time out of their busy days to discuss all things payments.

With the same format as previous years, it was a chance to hear important updates on operations and support, IT and product roadmap, finance and reporting, and legal and compliance.

Paynovate was delighted with the turnout and anyone who was unable to attend, can ask for a recording.

There were a number of standout moments, including a focus on My Paynovate which, as everyone is aware, is a robust and informative platform which provides all the information that a customer needs, at their fingertips. Partners were reminded that users receive a monthly report on performance and competition ranking, which is a new and unique feature in the market.

The point was made that all customers need to be fully up to speed with all of the features of My Paynovate, and understand the benefits to their business.

Also highlighted was Paynovate’s innovative Merchant Cash Advance initiative which has just been launched. The idea behind this is that merchants often find it hard to receive a loan from a bank. Paynovate is now able to make a real difference when it comes to how merchants manage their cash flow, especially in demanding times.

From the first quarter of next year, to provide further help for its merchants, Paynovate will operate a new incident management and reporting tool. New comprehensive Zendesk changes are coming, so that Paynovate has a more centralised system.

A major moment in the presentation was the announcement of the Paynovate VISA promotion which celebrates the Paris Olympic Games 2024. The incentive for all partners is when they target new contracts and sign a certain amount, those who achieve the most will be able to take advantage of VIP packages to the Olympic Games themselves. Paynovate is very excited with the promotion and can't wait to see who’ll be going to Paris next summer.

Another highlight was Paynovate Labs. This is an exciting new department within Paynovate, allowing a dedicated team which works on brand new ideas. This department will create an innovation funnel that promotes new growth and helps position Paynovate in the long term, as well as actively managing the product portfolio.

As for feedback, one issue aired was onboarding. As will all companies in the payments industry, Paynovate is obliged to undertake a thorough and detailed onboarding process. Paynovate has made this a major priority and the onboarding target is now two to three days.

There is an urgent option and merchants can opt for immediate onboarding if they require it, although the paperwork still has to be completed, but at a slightly later stage. Paynovate also reminded everyone that merchants have to undergo an annual compliance review which again, is a regulatory requirement.

Well, that’s a wrap for this year’s webinar, another worthwhile forum for an in-depth discussion on payments, helping partners navigate an increasingly complex ecosystem, with Paynovate always on hand to help.

Until next time.
