Paynovate opens in the UK to help solve payment challenges

Paynovate has opened its first UK branch office, equipping operators with payment solutions that will help solve some of their biggest challenges

Recently appointed Branch Director Joanne Parker-Ridgway is focussing on customers and building Paynovate’s UK team.

Paynovate has earnt a strong reputation as a leading European e-money solutions provider, originally beginning as a single payment processor to becoming an established acquirer that generates over €200m per month. It also enjoys strong relationships, as a principal member for both issuing and acquiring, with Visa, CUP and Mastercard.

What’s more, Paynovate is licensed to operate both in Europe (via the National Bank of Belgium) and in the UK (FCA).

Joanne explained: “The fact that we operate under our own licences, from such reputable institutions, and do not depend on third parties, is a great benefit for our customers. They know that we deal directly with the regulators, not via someone else’s platform. This provides an added level of comfort.”

As for the Paynovate approach, Joanne continued: “It’s essential for a payments solution to run smoothly, both frontend and backend. Payments need to be processed quickly so that operators keep players engaged and most importantly, retained.”

This reflects the Paynovate ethos which is centred on three pillars: acquiring, issuing and banking.

Paynovate knows that its customers value the one-platform approach. It's an easy-to-use, efficient solution which will be a game changer for UK businesses. Paynovate always aims to stand apart from its competitors and go the extra mile for its customers.

Take Paynovate Acquiring, which accepts most cards and provides online businesses with a full-service solution across the acquiring value chain, via desktop, mobile, or app, in over 150 currencies. And POS acquiring is a significant part of the Paynovate business. The added attraction for Paynovate and its customers is that the Paynovate’s payment terminals, of which there are 40,000 are in operation throughout Europe, run on the company’s own software. This reduces technical issues and again, puts the customer in the driving seat.

Then there’s MyPaynovate Acquiring, a transaction monitoring platform. This provides users with access to real-time reconciliation, instant payment processing, and the ability to control security parameters. What’s more, with full access to funds and comprehensive transaction histories, users have full flexibility to help eliminate delays and enhance the overall experience.

“Clients can use Paynovate as a full-service offering, including acquiring, issuing and banking services, without the need for multiple suppliers and clients,” said Joanne.

She added: “With over one million payment cards managed, we have a deep understanding of the intricacies involved in card issuing. Our team brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to ensure smooth and efficient options.”

Joanne has been in financial services for many years, mostly spent specializing in payments and fintech, with a focus on card issuing. She has worked with some of the largest names in the industry, from startups to scale-ups.

“I’ve worked for some of the largest EMIs in the UK and Europe in a commercial capacity, managing relationships of large corporates and fintech organizations,” she says.b

She is now focusing on customers and building Paynovate’s UK team.

Last word to Joanne: “We believe we are ideally placed to solve many of the biggest challenges faced by our customers today and look forward to demonstrating why Paynovate is well-equipped to help businesses grow over the coming years.”
